i absolutely despise the loudness pandemic. i call it a pandemic (see my blog, coming soon). it's asinine and pointless. i enjoy ushering in the 'old school' analog & musical mentality and sound with a modern sense of fullness...

...for this, i enjoy the pristine 64-bit path in Sonar I have to work with for accuracy and convenience. interconnecting with that are my analog devices, for example, my Drawmer 1968 ME Ed. the sonic goodness that I get from my UAD-2 with, for example a faux Neve console, is undeniable. the heart of all this, keeping it together are my outstanding Aurora converters. along with my other analog and digital elements, some custom built that shall go unmentioned here, it all creates my own hybrid personal touch upon the music i work on. i like unique variables; custom workspaces; a little less "plug n' play". not to mention some sense of privacy and respect for one's craft. when there is a bit of mystery and enigma to things it retains more value, while also legitimately building disciples for the future who in turn strive for their own methods and ways.
i've performed & compensated for acoustic calibration of my work space via mathematical diffusion and low frequency control, created and assembled the wiring thru out, and optimized both my analog and digital gain structures.

i've been playing music now for about 18 years. my two major metal band endeavors are Divine Rapture and currently Randall Flagg. Divine Rapture has a 2003 world release on Listenable Records . Randall Flagg released a full length in 2007, now available thru The End Records Omega Store. i like to compose classical pieces and soundscapes as well. between all of that and essentially 10 years of applied audio practice i've got a good hold on how i'd like to convey my sound.
